144 Pentlands to Portobello Walk

from Porty Podcast · host David Calder, Ross Woodside

Send us Fan MailYou may have seen in Cllr Maureen Child’s most recent newsletter that the Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust had completed a feasibility study for a walking and cycling route between the Pentlands and Portobello. The idea would be to start from the Prom and create a safe route along the main road until it reaches the start of the Brunstane Burn Path. From there, it would follow the burn through its various names – Niddrie and Burdiehouse – until it reaches its source up near Swanston. We thought we should find out more.To read the report and view the maps of the route, click on the linkhttps://tinyurl.com/y5p29dr4
