144. Ron Torrance | CrossFit Health

from Best Hour of Their Day | Podcast · host Jason Ackerman / Jason Fernandez

On today’s episode Jason Ackerman sits down Ron Torrance is an MD-L1 and part of the Derelict Doctor Club (DDC) which has come up a few times. Ron runs the Regenesis Tampa Bay, whereby he treats Orthopaedic injuries differently by using rich plasma and bone marrow stem cells — giving people another option before surgery. He is very involved with Crossfit HQ by going there about every three months, and he’s an affiliate owner Crossfit Love, in Philly. They are looking to open a second affiliate in Maini that would allow for a merge of Crossfit and health care in one. Ackerman and Ron discuss everything from NSCA court case to the shift that Crossfit made over the year to 18 months. Also an almost behind the scene look at the DDC, which, to most of us one we will never get the opportunity to attend and is still a mystery.
