He was one of the founding members of both the Red Rockers and Cowboy Mouth, collectively recording over 20 albums and three solo albums. He has toured with Joan Jett, Men at Work, The Go-Gos, U2, and others. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, JTG, as he is often referred to, was inducted into the Buddy Magazine Texas Guitar Players Hall of Fame in 2001.
