145. Outshining the Shadows: HOMICIDE

This week on LOTW, Becky and Bevy discuss the final days of Janet Overton — a woman stepping into a new chapter just as her life took an unexpected turn. After years focused on raising her son, Janet had stepped into a leadership role on the local school board, quickly becoming an influential voice in district decisions. She was thriving publicly, but at home her unexplained health decline was becoming harder to ignore. When she collapsed without warning, the shock was immediate. Her death was first listed as “unknown,” but the investigation that followed would reveal a far more disturbing truth.
