146. Success Through Self-Awareness with Mauricio Ruiz

This week, Timmy and I are joined by our friend, Mauricio Ruiz, who we met at Pure MMA. Mauricio is a serial entrepreneur, who spent his entire life creating new business ideas. Yes, that is no mistake. Mauricio began his entrepreneurial journey at nine years old in Peru, where he would buy and sell cigarettes and alcohol for his family. While most kids would play in the street, Mauricio was doing business. Mauricio continued his entrepreneurial journey into his teenage and adult years via car shops, stock market coaching, sign shops, etc. In addition, he also played professional soccer for the NY Red Bulls reserve squad. Mauricio attributes his success to his confidence to succeed and his self-awareness of when to move on from a project. Today, Mauricio runs a sign, business called SignedUp LLC for which the Instagram can be found below. By the time this episode drops, he will have announced plans to open his new business venture called, WorkedUp, which will be similar to WeWork.
