In this role he leads efforts to ensure comprehensive and coordinated leadership development and well-being opportunities for faculty, staff, and learners across the UNC School of Medicine.   He is also the Director of the UNC School of Medicine Coaching Academy.  Bryant obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Neuroscience Concentration from Duke University.  He completed Medical School, Anesthesiology Residency, and Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship at Wake Forest University.  He also obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree from George Washington University in 2012. Prior to returning to academic practice at UNC, he was a partner in a private practice Anesthesiology Group in southeastern North Carolina, and served on the Board of Trustees for the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Bryant has served in various state and national leadership and advocacy roles including President of the North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists and the North Carolina Medical Board.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Medical Society.
