#146: The Story & Passion Behind Pip, with Josh Pittman.

In this week’s episode Eoin chats with the CEO of Pip, Josh Pittman (@pipdiabetes).Josh has vast knowledge and experience within the healthcare system, and over the years he was seeing the negative impact of traditional Diabetes devices on those living with the condition who had a genuine fear of needles (needle phobia).As a result of this phobia, people are less inclined to check their blood sugar, less inclined to take insulin, and ultimately less inclined to be as healthy as they can be - short and long term.This is where the passion for Pip stemmed from, a way to help Diabetics overcome the fear of needles with painless lancets, pen needles, meters and strips, and redefine Diabetes for each individual patient living with the condition.
