147 - Hellfire Gala, Part 2: The Fallout

In Part Two of our look at the multi-issue "Hellfire Gala" story, we discuss the fallout of the gigantic revelation that the mutants have terraformed Mars. There's a new Regent of Mars, and we are very excited about their identity. Plus, there were multiple deaths during the party (cause let's face it, it wouldn't be a mutant party without trouble), and each promises intriguing new story directions in the months to come...including the eagerly anticipated "Trial of Magneto." Plus, we take at look at X-Men #1, Gerry Duggan's relaunch of the core title, now focused on the recently elected X-Men team and their mission to publicly protect ALL of humanity. Also, we share our thoughts on the LOKI show, and what it might mean for the future of mutants in the MCU. We discuss the apparent first appearance of a mutant in the MCU in BLACK WIDOW. And our thoughts on rumors of Michaela Cole being cast as Storm in BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER. All this, and more! facebook.com/daysoffuturepodcast Twitter & Instagram: @dofpodcast
