147: Prophet Vs Adam Jensen

What's Up Gamers?!Sony’s latest moves, Xbox cloud limits, and a bizarre White House game portal all collide in a gaming news episode that turns into something even better: a full-on sci-fi showdown for the ages. If you care about where gaming is headed, what’s getting worse, and which iconic armored hero would actually win in a fight, this one is for you.John and Dean kick things off with the week’s biggest releases and Epic’s free games before tearing into the stories everyone’s arguing about - from rumored layoffs tied to a surprise Star Wars hit, to NVIDIA’s troubling DLSS 5 performance claims, to Microsoft quietly tightening the leash on cloud gaming. Then the gloves come off for a Sony segment that blends customer-service backlash, physical media rage, and a bigger question about what you actually own when you buy digital games. They also react to the State of Play comments section chaos, the White House’s surreal arcade game site, a Tetris copyright response, possible chip shortages, and a handful of new indie games that sound completely unhinged in the best way - including paranormal FBI agents, a narrator-defying horror game, a stream-fueled co-op mess, and an anomaly-sorting simulator that sounds like work in disguise. Then comes the main event: Sci Fi September begins with a brutal character battle between Adam Jensen and Prophet, packed with deep lore, cybernetic upgrades, tactical improvisation, and way too many ways to maim someone in a sci-fi lobby. If you love gaming news, nerd arguments, and character matchups that spiral beautifully out of control, this episode is essential listening. Please consider leaving us a 5 Star Rating and/or Review, so we can continue to grow!Check out the other shows on the Dynamic Podcast Network, including:Dynamic Duel: Marvel vs DCMax Destruction: Movie FightsSenjoh World: Anime BattlesCheck us out on Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, and Mastodon!and check out our Website, hosted by Riverside.com!#sega #nintendo #microsoft #xbox #epicgames #gog #steam #valve #Crysis #DeusEx #Prophet #AdamJensen
