#147 Solo Episode- Ignite Creativity with Lateral Thinking

from What Got You There with Sean DeLaney · host Sean DeLaney

Edward de Bono came up with the term “lateral thinking’ back in 1967, linking it to humor. We find most jokes funny because they connect unexpected ideas with topics we already know. On this solo episode Sean discusses one of his approaches to often tap into my creative side and that is through LATERAL THINKING. Lateral thinking is the process of using information to bring about creativity and insight. Lateral thinking can be learned, practiced and used. Unlike critical thinking, which seeks errors and attempts to fix them, lateral thinking is about moving from one known idea and leaping forward to create new ideas.   *Questions for the solo podcast email [email protected]* Subscribe to the Newsletter- https://bit.ly/2RH3eaD Get the Latest from Sean right here - https://bit.ly/2RH3eaD Contact us: Whatgotyouthere Exclusive opportunities: http://whatgotyouthere.com/newsletters-and-sponsors/  Intro/Outro music by Justin Great- http://justingreat.com/ Audio Engineer- Brian Lapres  Get full access to Momentum Monday at seandelaney.substack.com/subscribe
