148: Boundary Setting for Empaths (and Everyone!)

from Your Chakra Coach · host Sarah Bright

This week is part two of my interview with Jen Moore, and empath and author who helps other empaths understand themselves and how to deal with the world. Last week we talked about what exactly an empath is, the unique challenges of existing in the world while feeling others emotions as your own, and why we can all benefit from moving towards empathy whether we identify as an empath or not, and today we’re talking about boundaries. This is another word, like empath, that gets used a lot, but we don’t always know what it means. Jen takes us through how to set boundaries that are useful and flexible and grow with us, and also how to avoid violating other people's boundaries in an attempt to make ourselves feel better, especially if you’re an empath. I do want to let you know that we briefly discuss eating disorders and suicide, so please take care when listening if these are triggering for you. If you're interested in learning more about Jen and her work, you can go to www.empathicmastery.com or www.empathicmasterybook.com. Each week, we'll continue to learn tools and ideas that we can use to move closer to our highest selves! You can connect with me on Facebook and Instagram, and if this show is helping you in your life, consider joining the Patreon page for bonus content (meditations, videos, etc.) and to support the mission of the show!
