#148 Buitenschoolse kennisbronnen (Funds of knowledge)

In deze aflevering zijn Elsbeth Kemme, Lisa Gaikhorst en Edda Veerman te gast en gaan we in  gesprek over hun onderzoek naar de kracht van buitenschoolse kennisbronnen.Veel leerlingen ervaren een discontinuïteit tussen thuis en school. De theorie over Funds of knowledge beschrijft hoe scholen gebruik kunnen maken van de kennis en vaardigheden die leerlingen buiten school opdoen (hun buitenschoolse kennis(bronnen)) om betrokkenheid bij school en leren te bevorderen.Gebruik maken van buitenschoolse kennisbronnen is een sterk middel voor kansengelijkheid. Tijdens dit project ontwerpen basisschoolleerkrachten een aanpak waarmee zij kennis en vaardigheden die leerlingen buiten school opdoen zichtbaar maken en vervolgens benutten in hun lessen.
