That all sort of went out the window with ‘the big corona’ and the channel lost its way for a while, eventually getting up to around 7,000 subscribers in November of 2022 with Geoff about to give it all up. Around the same time (late 2022) Geoff lost his real job and made his first video highlighting the hypocrisy of the latest ULEZ scrappage scheme which had just been announced. The video was popular, leading Geoff to discover a new style of video – sitting in his car and explaining things to people. Instead of just buying and reviewing cars, Geoff now focuses on important things that are going on in the world, breaking down the latest news, connecting the dots to other key information and putting it into laymen’s terms for all to understand. The channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers in December 2023 and continues to be a mix of important videos, car content and humour. I instantly connected with Geoff and think of him as a friend.
