Frederike Luijten (25) is recent benoemd tot stadsdichter van Tilburg. Deze stad omarmt de poëzie in het publieke domein, Frederike is al de elfde stadsdichter daar. Dertig kilometer verderop, in Breda, hebben de inwoners het minder getroffen. De laatste dichter die zich officieel stadsdichter mocht noemen, Kees van Meel, heeft jaren geleden zijn pen aan de wilgen gehangen.
