148. How to Sell Without Selling as a Yoga Teacher

Selling is not what you think it is.  It  is not manipulation.  It is not a bait and switch.  Selling can be an awful experience for you and your potential client if you think selling is forcing someone to get on a high pressure sales call to convince them to work with you. Yuck.  Please do not do this.  It’s not needed.  My coach has taught me that selling is coaching and coaching is selling.  This concept changes the whole selling experience.  Instead of potential clients leaving a consultation call feeling like they wasted their time or used, they can leave feeling transformed.  When you sell to your potential clients through consultation calls and/or sales pages you have the potential to create awareness around a specific topic.  You can have them leaving consultation calls feeling excited, inspired and grateful.  What a difference.  The bonus of this is you can “sell” anywhere.  Even in classes, key note speaking events and workshops where you are not allowed to promote.
