It was Brett's turn to choose our "Around the World" Movie-Go-Round film, and he chose 2016's Shin Godzilla (a.k.a. Godzilla Resurgence). For a movie with a strong comedic bent in the first act, we dig surprisingly deep into cultural fears, Japanese-U.S. relations, and origin conspiracy theories.
