14th Annual Camping for Hunger Kicks Off

We were live on location for today's conversation at the Camping for Hunger bus to kick off the 14th year of the annual food drive to benefit Front Royal/Warren County CCAP. Joining me to kick off the event was Andrew Shearer, President of Royal Broadcasting along with Larry Elliott and Joanne Koszyk from Front Royal/Warren County CCAP. We talked about the history of CCAP as well as the future of the organization and learned about the impact having a new space will have on their ability to serve the community. Andrew talked about how this food drive came to existence and the importance of helping those in our community who are less fortunate than most of us. The bus will be open for donations - nonperishable & monetary - 24 hours a day from noon on Monday, November 14 through Saturday morning, November 19, 2021.
