15 Adventures in Outdoor Leadership with Shawn Stratton

from The Anthem of the Adventurer · host Dan Zehner

Today on the show we welcome Shawn Stratton, who’s an adventurer from Newfoundland who worked for many years at the National Outdoor Leadership school. We talk about his time at Outward Bound, the National Outdoor Leadership school and how his career in adventure changed once he started a family. It was really cool to hear how he approaches adventure with his wife and kids, and how to encourage them to embrace it! We talked about how important is to not give up on your passion for a healthy lifestyle, your passions, or your hobbies just because you have kids. He also has some great ideas for how to talk to your kids and set them up for success!
