Dr. Murray earned his bachelor's in history from Harvard and attained his Ph.D. in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Murray is a Hayek Chair of Cultural Studies and W.H. Brady scholar at the American Enterprise Institute where he focuses on society, culture, and universal basic income. He is the author of Losing Ground, The Bell Curve, Coming Apart, and Facing Reality.
