Different Seasons with the Same Squad. I am so excited for this latest episode because my best friend is on the sofa with me and we're getting into the beautifully messy topic of friendship in motherhood. Lets be honest, nothing tests a friendship quite like one of you being up at 2am for a feed while the other is up at 2am for... completely different reasons.We're talking about what happens to friendships once babies enter the chat especially the ones with your girls who aren't mums yet. The group chat that used to move at lightning speed now has you replying eleven hours later with a voice note recorded in a bathroom. The invites that slow down because everyone assumes you're "not up for it." The love that's still there, but now has to find a new rhythm.My bestie and I get real about what it's actually like being on opposite sides of that motherhood line,  the awkward bits, the guilt, the "do I even have anything interesting to say anymore" spiral, and also the surprising ways the friendship has gotten deeper, not weaker.
