15. How Do We Pray for Our Kids?

Welcome back to the kitchen table! Today Bethany is sharing what it means to truly pray like a grace filled warrior.  Do you ever feel like prayer is just another thing on your checklist? You know that you are supposed to pray for your family but after you do, you are still in this place of doubt. Did He really hear me? Did I say the right things? What if I don’t have enough faith?  Mama, that is not how God designed prayer to be. He didn’t design it to be a checklist, or an ATM where we just put in our Christianity card and get our desired result.  Prayer is the place that God calls you and me. In Episians 6 Paul says, “pray all times in the spirit in prayer and supplication”.  God intended for us to seek him out in prayer. Whatever our need or our problem may be, he just wants to lend his ear to listen.  If we understand this, we can stand on the promise that He hears our voice.
