People will literally want you to stay at a lower level because they are afraid of going higher. I've met these kind of people my entire life. My entire life, I've encountered people that have looked at me and like, Oh, you from here, you from seven mile and Detroit, you supposed to act like this. You from Detroit, you supposed to do this.
You black, you post the act like this. You post the think like this, you post the vote like this, you post the believe it, you post the watch this, you supposed to listen to this. I've had people my whole life like, you don't listen to such a set of you watch this, that you know, that, that, no, why you mad, bro? Why you mad because I'm recognizing my moment and you scared.
And so the devil will try to use people to the little you and keep you in a bubble so that you don't burst in. But the thing is, when you recognize your moment in time, you don't let nobody else's fear limit you. If everything he did would have been written that the world could not contain the books that would be written. That means Jesus was walking around every day like be here.
What is time? I'm gonna tell you one of the most amazing things when you go and look up the definition of time is that time is all through all of the explanations of time. Like, bro, I'm reading and I'm like, you mean to tell me people can't even explain time without using time? Time.
You mean to tell me that time is so deep that you can't even explain time without using the word time like googling like later today, just like Google, like the definition of time and you don't see they're gonna explain it that way. And I was just sitting and asking myself, what is time? Elevate Christ. And that is what we are losing sight of in the world today.
It's the fact that God is calling on our lives, him shitting his blood for our sins, uniting us by faith, making us brothers and sisters. He is our father. If that's your daddy and that's my daddy, I'm your brother. Say if that's your daddy and that's my daddy, I'm your brother.
And ladies, if that's your daddy and that's my daddy, I'm your sister. All right, man. I appreciate you all listening to episode 198. He saw the stress in me.
Please do. If you new listeners to the show, check out all the shows we've done. We have over 214 episodes. This is actually the 215th episode that we released, I believe.
And we got a lot on audio before the video, but right now you will believe her and you telling me to go out here and act ungodly. I can't find nowhere in the Bible, what you just told me to go do and how you told me to do. So let's be mindful of where the person giving the advice to give godly counsel, to give godly advice, to ultimately advise people to do what we believe God wants for them. And I think if we all do that, y'all, we might be on to something.
We might find ourselves getting into a place where we really out here growing in life. My goal for you, and the reason I create the content I create for inspire guys, people, is for real life testimonies, real life people. Cause I literally believe this is life changing stuff. I literally believe that if you apply these things, we start kicking it and we'll be like, yo, I got better.
I went to work this weekend and I went that stress. You know, I'm dealing with my family this week. I went that stress. I got a micardis week.
I'm not that's just something that's not right. People around you so that you can get to a point where peace is normal. For some of us war, it has become the norm because we got so many negative situations around it. And I'm gonna be real with you.
I see people online and I'm like, oh, I actually think this person enjoys negativity. Like, I actually think some people get off on that. And it's like, yeah, those are the people I stay far away from, people who are living a lifestyle of negativity, I want nothing to do with you at all on any level. And I'm just being real because at the end of the day, you know, to get to the peace that surpasses all understanding, like I realize that that piece is found in Jesus Christ and that I need to surround myself with people who also know that piece so that when I'm not at my best, the strong people around me can help me stay up.
Some of us are around such toxic people that when you find yourself in a weak moment, those people are not holding you. I see people are always be like, I'm like, Oh, what don't I know? There's more to be discovered, more to be explored. That's why I engage people in the comments on social media.
When I ask a question, I like to know what people think because I know that there is more to you than meets the eye, even if you cute, even if you kind of struggling, which it looks, you know, we don't all look good, you know, we ain't all cute. I might be struggling on a certain day. Even when I'm struggling, there is more to you, man. You don't have to spend $500 on a t-shirt to kind of prove your wealth.
It's not about money. It's about freedom. When you think that prosperity is about money, then you chase money and then you start equating money to God and you start doing things for money that God didn't call you or tell you to do doing things against God and saying that it's God. You know, this is kind of common in today's society.
We got people out here openly living by our lives, but then saying that they're doing it in the name of Jesus, in the name of Christ. You got people cussing in one senses and talking about God in the next, and it gets real confusing. If we be honest, they have a flawed view of what prosperity actually is. That's why it's important for us to think about prosperity in its proper form.

Things like spend money on suits and I like nice things, but it's not at the expense of doing my assignment and funding my assignment. That is first. And I learned that the hard way because if it's not first, then the only other thing that could be first is my interest. And that's, you're basically just taking your anointing and cutting in half, if that's the case.
Listen, isn't it more blessed to give them to receive? What's in it for us is being part of the advancing of the Kingdom of God on Earth in our lifetime. There is no greater adventure that you could ever be part of. Now, if you end up with nice things, I have a nice truck, right?
You know, I ordered it and I waited nine months for it in COVID and I got it. You know, I'm like, it's still just a truck. It's nice, you know, and it's not extreme. It's just a truck.
I feel like so many different problems in society stem back to men don't know how to lay down their lives in romance for women and women don't know how to receive that. And so you have men that are like abusing a relationship with women and women are like using what men want against them. And so now you have a society where it's like, it's less driven and there's no commitment. There's no desire to stay connected and then you have kids that are growing up and they're seeing this and now they just repeat the same thing.
This is where we are, man. Like we don't need to go too much into divorce and follow those homes and pornography rates and all these things. But it's like, it's at an all time high and we wonder why we're depressed and suicidal and we can't trust one another. The thing called dialectical behavior therapy, where we want to slow down the person and to actually evaluate what do you see?
OK, how can you feel about that? Instead of what we see a lot of times today is how do you feel? Go with that. And it's like, wait, no, no, no, no, because I feel many things in one day.
It's not even funny. Like I just started with a trainer, maybe three months. I never, ever feel like eating healthy. I don't want to eat cauliflower rice.
I don't want to eat greens the morning. I never took them to it. Right. I always feel like pancakes and bacon.
I can tell you, I will never not feel that way. And yet, if we want to get somewhere sustainable and helpful and nourishing to us, then we can't always go based off how we feel. But instead, what is the front of us? What is the goal?
What's the outcome that I want to have? OK, let me go with that. This is a show about faith in business. And I believe that if you can better make financial decisions and understand how things work, then you can put yourself in a position to have more money for your family, more money for your business, more money to travel, for your future.
So this is about really being a good steward as a Bible causes us to be with our finances. We should be good stewards. And then on top of that, I got to be real with you. I just love making the deal.
That's what I do. I love negotiating. I love strategizing and having a plan on how I could flip something legally. You know what I'm saying?
Like how I could take something and take an asset, buy it at the right time, sell it at the right time to make some money. If you do this right, there's money to be made. You know what I'm saying? You manage your money in a way where you got control of your spending and you realize you didn't need that second job after all because you began to manage your money differently and realize that you could take a different job, maybe with less hours and make more money.
What if you get rid of overtime just because you manage your money better? What if you are always so stressed out because you manage your money better? Because guess what? Financial stress increases inflammation which leads to heart attack, heart disease and stroke and brainiac.
So financial stress can impact your health. Financial stress also impacts parenting. Financial stress has actually been linked to harsh parenting. People who are feeling financial stress are more likely to smank their kids, yell at their kids and use their kids.
Financial stress. If managing your money allows you to reclaim your term, have less stress, have more health and create more memories of your children. That's why I love my kids so much. The first business might not be the one that I have for you, but it's going to be the business that leads you to the business that I have for you.
The first relationship might not be the one that I got for you, but it's going to be the relationship that leads you to the relationship that I got for you. If we never okay with making those pivots, we will hold on to things way too long. It's a mindset, right? It's a way of thinking.
Hey, I'm never out of the game. I can always make an adjustment. I can always shit. I know what I don't have, but what do I have?
I know what I lost, but what did I gain? I know the amount of money I don't have, but what can I do with the money that I've got? It's always looking for that next lane, like that next pivot, that next adjustment. That's my message to the world.
We cannot be afraid to make pivots that literally everything that you probably are desiring that you don't have right now is on the opposite side of a pivot you've yet to make. Often that pivot is very clear to us. You knew three years ago that you should have been left and did something else. You should have been relocated.
I'll put that vision in you that you're supposed to travel somewhere and do this, but you just didn't do it. I want to challenge you today. You might hate your job. You might hate your current situation.
You might hate the community you came from. You might have every legitimate excuse not to do well. You may have every legitimate excuse to give up, to complain or to quit, but I want to challenge you today to pivot in your mind. You need to start looking at your situation different before it's ever going to be different.
The thing with some of us is we look around for something to change before we change our minds. It's not that I don't care. It's that I don't care. It's not to be mean or dismissive, but it's because I can't carry it.
It's bringing me down. Internet has given us news and information all across the literal world. It's topics were stories that the media selects because they know it'll get people around them. I don't care.
I don't care. Listen, it's some people out here that's worried about stuff that's going on in other countries and your grass ain't good. You ain't shoveled. No, your bed ain't made up.
Your refrigerator is dirty. Please do a refrigerator check. I don't need your opinion about nothing. If you got an open banana in the refrigerator that can drive up, that's the next challenge, the refrigerator challenge.
You got to take the picture of your refrigerator and post that. And if it's dirty, I want to hear nothing from you because we're waking up and we're worried about the 3000 miles away and we've put off something important that's three feet in front of us and you open that refrigerator a hundred times of that and you're not going to grab a rag and clean off that coolade that drip that red popped that drip to the next show. You're not going to throw away those leftovers and clean out those tuba wear containers. Do the dishes.
Sweet the floor. Carrying burdens that are not ours to care. I can't talk. We're carrying all these burdens and we need to clean the fridge.
I started on YouTube five months ago. Like I had 200 subscribers and now we have almost 40,000 but I've made also 500 YouTube shorts. I put a lot of content out there because I love what I do and I just want to share it and I know if I show up every day, there are people who want to pray and people who pray with me every day. So in order for me to get motivation to make the content, I know there's someone on the other side of that screen who's waiting for a prayer and although the prayer might not be for their specific thing, they're wanting to grow in their prayer life and not taking on that responsibility to be someone who can help people grow in their prayer life.
The most important thing to me in my life right now is my relationship with God and what God has called me to do in online ministry. So I wake up every single day like to get into the Word, to get into praise and worship and I have a lot of alone time with the Lord. So I'm inspired to continue to build my relationship and be in fellowship with Jesus and as I do that more and more, He puts so much on to my heart from the Word and encourages me so I can go out there and do you encourage your not. So my wife and I have a two year old.
I know, he's going through what they call the terrible tubes and you all know what that means. He's just really trying to find his way in the world. Who's in charge? Is he in charge or are we in charge?
That's where the terrible tubes come from. But when you really look at it, how many of us are going through our terrible tubes? Terrible 42. If you're going through something, trying to find your place in the world, keep searching.
I recently started a new position in my job, trying to find my way through. My wife recently went back to school. She's trying to find her way through. Just like our two year old son, trying to find his place in the world.
But the thing is, do not give up. Keep searching. Keep pressing. Trust God that you will find your way.
Because he's the one that's leading a guiding in every day.
