Phil Holoubek is the founder, President and CEO of Lexington’s Real Estate Company (“LRC”). Since 2000, LRC has been actively involved in the transformation of downtown Lexington, developing more than $50 million worth of real estate in the downtown Lexington area, with additional mixed-use projects valued at $50 million currently in the works. Phil is an avid Community creator and featured projects include the Nunn Building, Main & Rose, Carson’s, and the project recently developed for Community Ventures on Lexington’s East End of Downtown, The MET. Named after its unique location, at the corner of Midland & East Third, The MET is a 75,000 sq. ft. mixed-use facility that will bring new resources to Lexington’s East End community. In our sit-down with Phil, we talked extensively about “Mixed Use” Development and in particular how that applies to Downtown Lexington as we focus on infill re-development.
