In this episode, I’m going to unpack my thoughts about the speed in which we create things, and the pressure we can come up against to have something new and fresh and amazing to post on social media, both regularly and often. It’s hard when your income is solely based on your art-making. But, for those of us who don’t have to worry about that, but still feel the pressure, I think it’s important to resist the urge to rush the creative process, which leads to rush-posting, and to instead focus on the work itself. There is SUCH a difference between cranking out rushed work to post for the sake of posting, and thoughtful work that we share when we’re ready. I’m here to validate that it’s okay to slow it down.
