15. Romans 1:19-20-Part 2 Pastor Phil Ballmaier Calvary Chapel Elk Grove 5-10-23 Tonight Pastor Phil puts the spotlight on Part 2 of Romans Chapter 1, verse 19-20. The Bible is very clear that God reveals Himself to us in different ways. Prophecy, speaking to us through His Word, revealing Himself to us through Creation, and through the life of His most precious gift. Jesus Christ, The Incarnation... Sadly men look to the stars and evolution and other humanistic or atheistic ways to explain why they are here—devoid of God. Our faith is built on the infallible truths of God's Word, revealed through the beauty of His craftsmanship... Paul chose Rome for a reason when he went out to preach. Firstly, because God had sent him, but because Rome was a central 'point of the world' as 'all roads lead to Rome'. So if he shared the Gospel there, whomever received it would carry God's Word, and the testimonies of Paul and the work they'd seen done out into the four corners of the world. Often referred to as the Gospel according to Paul, and the greatest book ever written, Paul's letter to the Romans will become our focus as Pastor Phil continues to lead us through the Word of God.
