Today's Shuritanya is in Parakdala de Vighyarasat Shiva. In yesterday's Shur we learned that while all of creation is from the Divine Name Elikim, the Nishamah Vaju is a part of the Divine Name Havaaya, which is the innermost level of godliness. In today's Shur the Al-Terebuh will begin to explain how even as Nishamah is in this world, that connection is recognizable. In Pusakal Yaw it says that Hashem emanated ten garments, which are the ten Sures, with which he governs all of creation.
These ten Sures are alluded to in the four letters of Hashem's Name, Yud, He, Vav, and He. The letter Yud, which is a mere dot, alludes to the attribute of Khachma, Divine Wisdom, which is hidden since it is beyond comprehension. The letter Hay, which has width and length, alludes to the attribute of Bina, Divine understanding, where the intellect is revealed and capable of being comprehended in the higher spiritual realms. The letter Vav, which extends downward and has an numerical value of six, alludes to the six meters, divine emotions, which is the first step of sharing the intellect with the lower physical world.
The final letter Hay alludes to the attribute of Malchos, Divine kingship, also referred to as the Divine Speech, like a king who governs with his speech. This is alluded to by the letter Hay, which is enunciated with an unvocalized breath, and has an numerical value of five, just as all expressions of speech come from the release of breath, and then separates into the five vocalizations of letters. This refers to the actual shearing of the intellect with the lower physical world, like someone communicating with another person.
