#15: the existence of queer ppl is not a partisan issue, & we're not going anywhere.

My heart goes out to the family members of the victims in the Colorado Springs shooting at Club Q. Thoughts and prayers don't do much — not as much as legislative action would — but it's the best I can offer. My hope is that one day it won't be like this. I also mention Lizzy McAlpine's incredible NPR Tiny Desk Concert (featuring Tiny Habits!) and talk briefly about the societal roots of homophobia as I see it.
