15. What The Menstrual Cycle Is & Why It Is Important For Your Overall Well-Being

from PMDD Redeemed | Emotional Regulation, Cycle Syncing, Monthly Cycle Hormones, Christian Women, Hormone Imbalance · host Lauren Collins | Registered Nurse, Certified Reflexologist & Holistic Women’s Wellness Mentor

You’ve probably learned about the menstrual cycle at some point in your life, but want a little refresher? It’s really easy to just see the menstrual cycle as only being blood, cramps and anxiety. But, my friend, there’s so much more to it than that! In this episode, we’re chatting about prominent hormones and what each phase is about in the menstrual cycle, but also about why it’s even important to talk about this stuff in the first place. Can you image if instead of people saying ‘hmm, yeah, she’s on her period’ or ‘she’s PMSing’, we started saying ‘ooooh, wow, she must be in her follicular phase, she’s rocking it!’?! I think that would be pretty cool! Tune in and get some insights into what’s going on in your body each and every cycle! Also, pardon my stuffy nose.. I’m a bit under the weather still! Apologies for any sniffly noises I didn’t edit out! :D Links: https://www.yeswellness.com/products/womens-health-matters-by-karen-jensen Next Steps: Join The Community: www.facebook.com/groups/pmsmadepeaceful/ Become An Insider: https://pmsmadepeaceful.getresponsesite.com/ Disclaimer: This podcast (PMS Made Peaceful) is not meant to take the place of professional medical help.
