Okay. Oh, you got the big open? Mmm. Mmm.
I can hold it there now, doesn't it? You ready? Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. No, fuck it.
Good morning, good afternoon. You listening to the AutoCarp podcast hosted by Penor Enus with all the stuff at tonight, getting sound levels because we just went straight into it and it's just the two of us tonight. Another live drive, but this one's a test drive. This was a weekend test drive.
Renay Tesla Model 3 Performance. Same car as Feechivall that time ago when our friend and listener to the show, Angel, was driving it for us. After the Model Y episode, he reached out to us and said I've ordered the first Model Y performance and I've negotiated a deal and I'm going to reveal it. I'm going to commit.
I'm going to say it. I'm going to buy this car. Okay. You know what the braking is?
It's like buying a brand new one because it's really no different to the Model Y we drive. The steering wheel is the same. Everything's the same. Not only does life cycle updates.
And no, and I've checked the interior out and just looked at it. That's a two year old Model 3. Mate, everything's pretty smicking side. You can't even tell anything's worn out.
No, we're not. Look, tonight, I thought we'd just go for a drive. We're not going to get romantic and talk about the screen. It's the same as the start of the fireplace.
It's already on. You're going to get romantic on the fireplace. I was thinking tonight, we're not going to talk about the screen and all the fart noises and everything else because we've got a performance. We've got some serious driving to do.
Let's do it. So let's do it. You have to start it. I know I'm just done.
That's it. That's it. Put the drive in. Oh yeah, forgot about that.
That's it. Do you pick your plates up? No, no, no, your plates. Okay.
So basically. Oh, I like it. Already. I do.
I do. I like the Model 3. Okay. So let's just run between the one, a few corrections from the first episode of the Model Y episode and that was there is a proximity.
You'll set it to your phone. Yeah. I didn't do that. I just had the phone app, but I didn't set the proximity card to my phone.
So I know how it was banging on about if it's raining carrying bags. In the Model 3, I've got a little fob where it does act like a proximity key as well. So just to correct ourselves, it's got that comfort. Sorry, it says.
So yeah, you do it. Just so we didn't have enough time to tune everything on our phones and God knows what else. But the interior is pretty much what I'm going to run about. It's pretty much the same.
The difference between seats feel softer. Well, it's like angels want to be for you. No, no, they just feel more. No, they feel more.
Add it. Maybe the performance seats have an extra low. They're quite comfortable actually. You see a lot lower in this.
You still have the same sort of dashboard cow low. Like there's no dash in front of you. So you can still see very clearly in front of you. Your head space is a little bit reduced.
My daughter was in the back today and she was pretty comfy. The suspension once how to get something boogies. It's a little bit softer. So it's still sporty, but not.
But not bone breaking. It's a little bit more giving. And yeah, we're going to hear some fucks and shits tonight because of the power. So when how sort of crosses the border into Mexico, we're going to do some performance as the box says outside.
But you have had it for two days and you have to give me a little test drive. And the difference is the ITI sort of wooden bar on the dash. If you remember how on the one model wide they extended around to the door. Yeah.
Apparently that's a Chinese feature where we're driving an American built Tesla. And the boot in this is not a remote release. The only ones. Yeah.
So you can do it with your phone. I think you can open it. You can't close it. You've got to close it with your hands.
So, but who cares? It's that we thought that the model wide standard was adequate. But once I got into this, you need the performance. If the budget allows us.
If you budget allows us. I see the E for E's and the I Brits as a family car where you're not going to go throwing it at corners. And it's A to B, you know, get out and about, do what it has to do. And if you've got brand loyalty, it'll give you the brand loyalty and the features and everything that you've wanted.
If you want to go throwing it at the corners and stuff, then obviously you just start the market up a food chain and you get to what you want. Interestingly, the Taytane S has knocked the Tesla off its perch at the Nurburgring. But who cares? No, the Nurburgring really.
Well, it does because the EV, not necessarily the Tesla fanboys, but the EV fanboys have been saying, oh look at that. You know, an EV does this and an EV does that and long comes portion, you know, knocks them off. And now it's, you know, it's turning to a pissing contest like it. And Nurburgring, it's a lot of fish on it, so whatever they say.
What ties are they using? Is it the factory ties or race ties? Yeah, I was just thinking of the R34, or the R34? Yeah, that's what I put in the head up today.
We'll join this game. And then you've also got to get some special ties. Yeah, and then model S I think. So I'll just talk about what sort of batteries they put in there in the charge and the rest of it.
So, great, great assault. That's what I think is, okay, as you can hear from my voice, and I'll just push it. It's nice. It's nice.
It's nice. I'm going to go into working orders here. It's like a super charge car. The way that the super charger is instant, right?
It's not like a turbo. Yeah, it's like a turbo. It's a little bit later. Superchargers, if it's on it's on.
This is a lot more instant, but what I also like about this is that the power is, we serve at the wire and with the three with a lot more power, there's no loss of traction. It's on the road and where I still go back to the I4, I love the I4. Mate, that was talk-steering. Yeah, you wouldn't want to be playing that in the way.
Although we haven't, we haven't, I tested around in the way to see if the battery's on the road. To see if it does the same thing. I don't know. We were in an aggressive mode.
We had it really in sport mode. That's what BMW said to us. We had it in sports boost mode, which lets the nanny's go to sleep and let you be more leeway. Because if you had a normal petrol car, or wheel drive performance and all that, I don't know if you'd get the same kind of torque steer in that.
I've never experienced it. I've driven a lot of cars in friends cars. I don't think you'd get the same amount of, you'd still want to hold on, but I don't think you'd get the same amount of wanting to sort of like, you know, grab across the road. So you're called such a blier style.
No, no, this next one. This next one. Not the index. But I'm really happy.
I'm like a set, these are two-year-old cars. And he's not a rattlesqueak. I remember with him on the way. He was a little round in the latch.
Yeah. But it was the first sort of one that came to Australia. It was a media car. But a Tesla car.
Where I was always worried about Tesla quality, but this is the second one. Mate, this isn't two years old. It's another day. It's a line with the turbine wheels.
It was a bit of sun today. We're thinking about the glides with the roof because there's no sunlight. It's got a little bit warmer hay. I think it's up to crack the air con.
Or what's your name? No, you know how they got the fireplace? Fridge. Fridge.
That's a lot. Chillie, chillie pack. Or whether those racing suits were the one that brought us the cool suit. Yeah, look, the thing is you don't, you've probably done to a lot of kilometres where it's the same sun.
Yeah, we're guesstimating. But if you were going to go out for a long drive through the day, it could get a bit, if you were going to be a hater one, you might need to wear a hat in the car. Yeah, and I had the debate with the edge about the waves and there's brackets where you can sort of hit your phone up to the dashboard and obviously run waves at the same time as you're running the nerve. So, it's got the traffic lights when it says greener red.
It skits at the city because it had the pedestrian arrows on while the green light went on. Oh, oh, oh, oh. And the screen was getting up between red and green. On one of the traffic lights, camera is at the big side of the screen, which is quite funny.
But as a driving car, look, again, now we've driven a lot of white before. And we'll get our hands on the edges at the end of the year. But the three performance, if you don't need the space, if you don't really need that handy hatchback, waste hire, instead of loading in, loading out, I still think the three, it might be coming for God in Tesla, but it's not. It's still a worthy purchase.
And I think this is a better car for me. I don't need the extra height and it'll things like that. But it's a bit more practical. This is practical.
I'm going to go to sell it young as I'm young, I want it. Yeah, yeah, it'll be easier. That's right. I don't think that will be a hassle.
So thumbs up and it looks like it's going to be mine. So it's going to do the deal and do the timing that needs to say goodbye to the A35. Why A35? So everyone's an A35, DM me, you know, with all your kids too.
Bring your dad's money. We don't find his broker as well. Oh yeah, we can get some money for you under your dad's name, whatever you like, give us a call. Send your e-mail to alltogannout.com.au For some car finance advice.
No, it's a good one. I think I'm really happy with it so far. I was hoping to pull up next to this R35, do you know? I know.
See what happens at the lights. No one, there's so many on the road now. No one really looks at you in the bottom three. I've got more looks in the Y because there wasn't any wires on the road.
I saw a white model Y the other day from front on. You know what it reminded me of? The Airbus the A380. It's got that hump.
Yeah, the hump in the hump. So when you look at it from front on... It was very comfortable though. The time I had it, I found that it was easy to get in and out of...
The darker car was super wide. Yeah, the white's nice. The white's nice. The front on it looked like the Airbus.
The Luger bus. The Luger bus. The not as bad but when you compare it to the three. The Antonoff?
Actually, there was the... The gold one was parked out in front of the other day. A black one. Yeah?
Yeah. Like the last of the gold ones. No, the Tesla gold ones. Oh, the Model X.
Yeah. It was parked out the front big, big car. That's what I thought about the front on the front. Antonoff.
It is a big looking car. The lights are a bit smaller for its size. The Model Y does look a bit more finished than the X, but the X is a lot bigger. It's got the three rows where you're not going to fit a third round of the Y.
The States have a third round. Yeah, the other States market is a little bit more. I'm surprised that having done. I mean, they just really got that market to itself with the GLB and the EQ.
They should do Volvo style refacing seats. So the kids can say that. No, no, no. So the kids can start packing their face up the other drivers.
Then they'll watch out. There's a man that wants to talk to you. It makes funny signs like we were trying to do. So there you have it.
There's a quick drive, quick test drive for the Model 3. I'm wrapped just as much as when we first were in a gear or so ago. We've grown up. We're not thrashing in every corner.
We've grown up. We've had our little Tesla, little stator. I think we're over the electric car. I think we're over the electric car.
I think we're going to fast guys off the road. I still want it. I still think performance never along the way. We're going to stay in it.
You want me to take it to Raw Racing? I think we should just take it to Raw Racing. Raw Racing. Yeah.
So we do it one night. Okay. You get a fun. So we'll leave the GDS at home.
Oh, you're going to be able to take it home. No, you're going to be embarrassed. Yeah. I'm sure.
Because you said it's like the Supercharge. I like it's more. Yeah, it's better. You can't just take a couple more.
You can't put more batteries in. You can't put more batteries in. You can't put more batteries in. You don't have any gyrosol before.
They take more batteries? Okay. Oh yeah. We'll work out of that plate.
Yeah. I've got re-rendered in the Audi Locks. Oh, yes. I've got more car news.
I've got 35's going. Is the A7 going out? No, it's a bit like a tank. See, you've got re-rendered.
I'll stop at the lights. The gentleman in the other car just didn't stop. He just ran into the car. The kids were in the car.
They were shaking. They went to impressed. I didn't want him to get out and shank him. No airbags went off.
No airbags went off. But it was a very firm jolt. But... The bumper still on?
No. The bumper didn't move? The lights cracked? No.
Nothing. The bumper is absorbed everything. You can see the plastics deformed in the bumper. Yeah.
That hasn't even come off the brackets. It actually has not been forwards. And it was a big whack. And the other car?
The other car. It's a common hook, but yeah, the safety is definitely there, but I reckon you'd have to run over it with a big double to get rid of it. So I know I might have done that one. I'm really so I'm really not happy about it because it's just very...
And the AC will be up for sale soon, and if anyone wants to... And you might need to bring Dad's money. If you want to bring Dad's money, it'll be 30-34. I need to bring Mum's money.
Great car for Mum. So there you have it. That's our car news for this week. Email us at alltalkedoutlook.com.
You rate us, review us. We've got a recent review on Spotify. And keep following us, and there'll be some more fun and games coming up in the next... I haven't lined it up yet.
There's something special we'll probably get City Raceway in some future episodes. How does it know about it yet? I'll just have to tell it off here. But thank you for listening, and bye for now.
Fun and dance, I'll just play... I'll leave it at the lights.
