151. ADHD and Business: How to Tame the Beast and Get Hyper-focused with Angie Lee

from Into The Wild

Hey you wild women! ⁣ ⁣ This week, I chat with a woman who wears many hats, the one and only Angie Lee. She's an entrepreneur, influencer, comedian, founder of the 8-figure wellness brand Soul CBD and host of The Angie Lee Show, a top Forbes podcast with millions of downloads. ⁣ ⁣ As a child, Angie had that feeling (maybe you, or your kids know the one) of being different. Always creative, she struggled to sit through class, finish a book, and would even paint her room a different color on a weekly basis! It all made sense after a brain scan confirmed the diagnosis of ADHD. ⁣ ⁣ Since then, Angie has learned how to embrace her neurodiverse brain, using it as a tool in her entrepreneurial endeavors. She's also become the ultimate biohacker — optimizing her food, nutrition, and supplements to help her manage her condition and succeed in business. ⁣ ⁣ In this episode, Angie and I discuss why we think that most successful entrepreneurs have inklings of ADHD, and how to manage it naturally for better cognitive function. It takes time to build these healthy habits and get dialed in, but if you're committed, you can increase your energy and output throughout the day. From exercise to salt lamps, Angie has found a way to take her diagnosis and make it her superpower in business. ⁣ ⁣ "Entrepreneurship is probably the number one job for the ADHD. If leveraged properly, it is such a strength." - Angie Lee⁣ ⁣ In this episode you will learn about:⁣ How to use ADHD as an advantage in entrepreneurship.⁣⁣ Investigating the healing power of CBD.⁣ Biohacks to optimize your sleep, nutrition and movement for more productivity.⁣⁣ Why sleeping well can change your entire life.⁣ How to increase and manage your energy throughout the day.⁣ How neurodiversity contributes to creativity.  ⁣ ⁣ -------------⁣ ⁣Got a minute?
