This podcast taught me so much about integrative and functional medicine, which is something that is not really taught in ophthalmology residency. Dr Rudrani Banik is a neuro-ophthalmologist who has a deep expertise in ocular nutrition and she is coordinating an anonymous Ocular Nutrition Survey so we can identify the gaps in nutrition education for ophthalmologists. She has also written two books on the topic:  Beyond Carrots- Best Foods For Eye Health A to Z and its companion cookbook, Dr. Rani's Visionary Kitchen.
