DAVE MANDEL is a multi-Emmy nominated writer and executive producer, who currently (as well as those roles) is the show runner of "Veep." Additionally, he has been a writer on "SNL" and an executive producer on "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He also wrote "Clerks: The Cartoon," and the feature films "The Dictator," "The Cat In The Hat" and "Eurotrip." Some of his most notable television episodes that he wrote were the 'Treehouse of Horror XXIII episode' with Brian Kelley on "The Simpsons" and 'The Bizarro Jerry' (AKA Manhands'), 'Betrayal' (The 'Backwards episode' with Peter Mehlman), as well as the infamous 'Pool Guy' episode on "Seinfeld," for which he won a prestigious Writers Guild Award.
