Direct mail has declined over the years with more businesses opting for online methods as it is easier to track conversions. However, direct mail still works if you change how you used it in the past. Producing simple flyers for example can be very hit and miss, but if you produce something that is useful to the potential customer, then you will have a winner on your hands. Produce a guide of your destination including upcoming events or even vouchers. Something that your customers may wish to keep. As for tracking, there are methods that allow you to track customers who came from your printed materials, be it a product code or a phone number. Just be a little more cleverer on how you use it. Build a rapport with them to keep them coming back for more.
