#152: Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with NHSX's Dr Indra Joshi 🤖

This week's Sunday Session features Dr Indra Joshi, once an emergency medicine physician and now the Director of AI at NHSX. James and Indra discuss her background and how she came to lead the AI efforts for NHSX, along with some of the specific projects that NHSX are undertaking to increase the adoption of AI into the UK healthcare system. Once of these projects is the AI in Healthcare Award, which is encouraging applications from companies across triage, imaging, screening, and intelligent operational automation. The second round is now open for applications until 8 December 2020 and winners can grab a share of the £140M split between all the rounds.
