152. Brad Trost - The Cost of Communism

from The Canadian Story · host David Parker & Zach Gerber

From 2004-2019 Brad Trost served as a Member of Parliament for the Saskatoon area.  During that period, he was known for his work on agriculture, natural resources issues, and other issues dear to his riding. During the 2017 CPC leadership race Brad placed fourth in a field of 15 candidates, campaigning on a platform that was strongly socially and fiscally conservative. Prior to being a Member of Parliament Brad worked as a mining Geophysicist having received bachelor's degrees in geophysics and economics from the University of Saskatchewan.  Brad also found time over the years to go back and help work on his parent's farm in eastern Saskatchewan.
