#152 Sage Canaday - Youngest Olympic Marathon Qualifier, Crazy Ultra Stories, Partying w/ Des Linden

On this episode, the boys had on professional ultra runner Sage Canaday! Sage is a Hoka athlete and is currently based out of Colorado.He started his pro career with the Hanson Brooks group in Michigan and we got some great stories from that time. He was actually the youngest Olympic Trials qualifer the year he qualified, at just 21 years old! After lowering his marathon time to 2:16, he moved to ultra and has been working with Hoka for 11 years! He has won Lake Sonoma 50 twice, and ran legendary races like UTMB. Sage has a lot of amazing stories and we got to hear a few from these races over the years.We also touched on Sage’s running post pulmonary embolism, which set him back a bit but he is running pretty well again now, breaking 2:30 at Boston this year!
