In Sinister, Ethan Hawke stars as Ellison Oswalt, a true crime author trying to recapture his success by moving his family into a new home to research a murder case. He discovers a box of 8 home movies depicting the murders of a mysterious serial killer dating back to the 1960's. Sinister is creepy. The home video horror style and the ominous music make this movie special. It is absolutely one of the scariest movies of the 2010's and it's about time we're reviewing it.
