Valkyn started his career as a trainee in the Maersk academy (Denmark) with stints in vessel operations, yard and port operations, trade lane pricing and capacity management in India (1998 to 2001), followed by stints in China (2002 to 2004) and Indonesia (2005 to 2008) heading the logistics side of the business. Since then Valkyn has had myriad roles and projects with Accenture (Russia and India), bulk shipping across Indonesia, agency, and logistics (Sinarmas group, Louis Dreyfuss, Inchcape). Currently, Valkyn is on the Indonesian Advisory board / Commissioner with PSA Singapore, Ezyhaul (digital), Atlantic Shipping India (agency) and Admiral Lines / Indonesian Navy commercial arm  (for their container agency). In this episode, Valkyn shares his view on macro-perspective of logistics infrastructure development in Indonesia and some other topic around connectivity, port and future of Indonesia's logistics.
