155.Truss, Concrete and Settlement Issues and How to Spot Them with Troy Bishop

This presentation will feature photos and design information regarding truss strapping inspections, truss modifications, concrete walls or slab cracking, and settlement defects in residential structures. Discussion will center on hurricane wind forces at the roof as well as settlement of the structure due to various reasons. Additional training will be presented regarding how to spot modified trusses or strapping, evaluate cracks in structures, and other items to ensure hurricane resilience.
