156. Cory Aycock “Lydia of the Desert”

Cory Aycock visits DIF HQ for his podcast interview Cory Aycock brought his film “Lydia of the Desert” to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival 2020 and, in all honesty, I can tell you that when I first watched this film as a member of the festival’s selection jury I was already hoping to see it become a part of the Discover Indie Film TV Series.  This personal, passionate work of utter restraint struck me as a wonderful example of auteur cinema.  I’m delighted to say that it happened!  You can watch “Lydia of the Desert” in the Discover Indie Film TV Series on Amazon Prime Video right now — just go to Season 4 Episode 6 to check it out.
