156. Growing a Mural Biz with Tony Stafki

This week’s episode features Minnesota based muralist Tony Stafki. Tony has been in the mural game for 14 years and this interview is a look into how he grew his art business from the start. We talk about some crazy mural stories involving painting on carpet walls and another painting up 100 feet. It’s really fun for me to talk to these muralists because even though we all do it slightly differently, we all actually do it way more of the same way. It’s funny how similar we go about bidding jobs and completing them with similar materials. It’s the same but different. One other similarity is that everyone struggles in the beginning with finding work but if you talk to anyone who has been in the game for more than 10 years they will tell you that things are going pretty well.
