Vanillian. As a chemical formula, the organic compound looks something like this: C8H8O3. Combine this with an apple and you get something called Vapple. Neophobia: extreme or irrational fear or dislike of anything new, novel, or unfamiliar.  Deer are the world's biggest neophobes if you think about it. And that's exactly what Kelvin Wilcox, deer hunter, creator, and founder of Vapple did. He thought about every little component that could and should go into an attractant, from the smells, to the fillers, to the flavors and made something that is perhaps the worlds best smelling deer attractant and neophobe antidote.  Kelvin's original quest was to make a wind checker powder that smelled like something a deer would like to eat. He accomplished that and moved onto an additive attractant, soaps, blinds, and cover scents, and scent eliminators.  Each product carries the Vapple quality and formulation that keeps the brand consistent.
