New Moon In Aquarius and Solar Eclipse Season Feb. 17, 2026 4:00am PTc 28 Degrees This is the fifth consecutive new moon of a total of six. We closed out 2025 with three New Moons at 28 degrees and started this new year with 3 new moons at 28 degrees. 28=2+8=10=1. The number1 is all about new beginnings. The New Moon in Aquarius arriving with a solar eclipse is a big deal in itself, but we are also starting the Lunar New in the year of the Fire Horse. Fire, fire, and more fire helps us to create a new path. Aquarius, being an air sign, will fuel the fire that we must temper and harness in the authentic direction we want to go towards freedom.
