Morning, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, you're listening to the AllTalk Car podcast, hosted by Pilarado's joining me tonight. Now, little more stuffer, we're testing out the new little microphone that I used in the US that, we're back, eh? We're using the Teslas as a studio, because we're too lazy to go back to the office. So we're just recording on the little mic and seeing how it performs.

It's actually very, it's very comforting doing the live drives. It is, but today, the Teslas on, it's just in the background. It's just a little studio for us. But it's also, I did on purpose because we're gonna talk about, we're gonna do a recap on Vegas, and we're also gonna talk about a little guy in car shopping and...

Fuck my wife. And this little drive is just trying to convince you to get a Tesla. You know, it is bad enough, like being car guy, it's bad enough you're always on the lookout to upgrade your car, right? You think, you know, it's only comes with...

Your own looking... Your own looking... Your next car's better, all right? Your next car's gonna be better, but you always have it, I don't be good, that'd be good.

And then you're total your car, and now you have to buy a fucking car. Right? Because you can't force the... I mean, we've got enough cars on the fleet, but you can't...

No, but I'm just over it. I'm just over it, I want a car. It's just like you spent the last six months planning what car because now she's saying like, well, you should get what you want. And you've banked the money.

Right? The money's in the bank. Right? But she's saying, well, get what you want because you're the one that does most of the drive.

Right? It's not a point. I have no idea where that's going. Right?

Sorry. I reckon it's a trip... Trip... I'm being set up.

All right, we'll get to that. So basically, I'm back from Vegas. Had a great time, how? Your friends were there and ripped a new idea for not being there?

Yeah, I know. What do you do? And it's saving. So basically, like the trip started since actually, you know, when you get to LA, you want to do a celebrity spotty?

I've never been to LA, but I can imagine what it's like. So you want to spot celebrities? And I had my first celebrity spotty literally in front of me at the airport in customs and it looked like I was part of the entourage. So like, because when you're in a massive queue at LAX, like it snakes its way around and then they split you off in a little splinter groups for the passport control, and in front of me was a celebrity.

And she's as tall as me. I remember Wilson. No, no. And there was a guy, is that you?

Like, recognizant? And I was a smiling like I was part of the posse? So big, big, big celebrity. Tracy Grimshaw.

No. I thought you said she was tall as you're not around here. You're in the world. Is that the photo that I had on her in her design and get outfit with her converse prize on?

Yeah, she had the sneakers. She dressed like my mum. And she had a Gucci-Witchie bag. Yeah, yeah, but she wasn't acting like she was rolling.

So she had seamless assault on her own outfit. I was listening to her talk to the little offside. So obviously, she was at the pointy end of the plane. And her offside, I wasn't.

And she was talking about putting her tout, the Apple Attack on her bag. So she knows where she is. And basically, they're off to Miami to do, I don't know, probably chase some know-gig council on her husband's medians. Yeah.

So that was, like, it was funny, man. Someone noticed her. They're kind of like, I love you. I watch your show every night.

I'm like, oh, God, really? So anyway, get to the car hire counter. So basically, the Americans call it a tipping system. I call it bribes.

So effectively, they will go to their way to service you. And you can either tip or not tip. Usually, if I pull out a $100 note, I get an upgrade. But I didn't need to already.

I booked a Chevy suburban. So I was there with my luggage. And the people that were behind me already left. And the lady goes, you're still here?

I'm like, yeah, it's still waiting for a suburban. She goes, oh, look, I'll bring you. I'll come and organize. Because you're waiting.

I'll go and organize a new one for you. I'm like, oh, fuck, they're all pretty new anyway. So she comes out with a Jeep Wagonee. You know, there's my brand Cherokee.

It's called Wagonee. And I just looked at it. I thought, nah. I can't do that.

I said, no, no, no, I wanted a suburban. She goes, no, no, no, no, I thought, this is brand new. I don't know about this car. So she goes, yeah, you're right.

The Chevy's right. But I said, she brought out a suburban. And it was a great car. She goes, do I get your black one?

Okay, yeah, why not? So I got into a black upgraded suburban. And I had the digital dash. And it didn't have, I don't know whether this is a chip surely issue.

It didn't have the similar deactivation. Well, probably here's a chip surely issue. But the V8 sounded like a V8 where the older ones had the chip, the similar deactivation. And this thing drank fuel.

But hey, it was a bit of fun. So I had a suburban and drove off to, I was going to go to the Canyon in LA. Originally the plan was to have a Mustang. But because it was a bigger group coming, I didn't have the space.

So this thing was heavy. You had the plan ahead to break. And there was no way I'd take this car and the Canyon's going to end up over the edge. So just drove out to Vegas.

It was a good trip. And then the first day we went to the Concourse Deligots. I don't know if you saw some of the photos on the Concourse. It's the first time I met your car.

There were only two pauchers. But there was like 10 McLarens, 10 Kerning zigs. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. And then the first time I met your car. Yeah. But there was like 10 McLarens, 10 Kerning zigs.

Yeah. You know what these, you know these McLarens. I mean they're really nice cars. They're fast, super cars and some of them are hard to cause to an extent.

But there's so many of them now that they're not, I don't know. They're not special anymore. These were the Speedtail. Yeah, I know.

But there were heaps there. And there were heaps on the road. Yeah. You know, you look at, they're just, I don't know how to put into words sometimes.

You don't put the words. But you look at the Porsche. And if you look at the special Porsche, the Concourse. Okay.

You look at something like a 959 and it was timeless. I've never seen a 959 up close to a personal. It was a nice car. And it was a different color.

I think that was that C-3 or something. So now you look at these McLarens and you think, well, you know what? Now we're going to look at these McLarens and see, I remember we saw one in 2020. No.

No. No. No, it's not a nice car. They're still a nice car.

We're going to Lambo. No. You'd have a Lambo for a car. Yeah, I think the Lambo game is going to a thing that a part of automotive world where they're trying to stay relevant with the new, with the new Contash.

And it's just a, it's like a remake of a movie. Yeah, they can sell it. That's why they do it. I think they're going to sell it because not everyone wants to buy them a clarinet or a Koenigsegg and a Lambo is a Lambo to Ferrari, so Ferrari.

Yeah. But I think the Porsche is just a Porsche. Yeah, but there's only two of them there. I was more excited about the 500 that was there.

That was built in a Porsche factory than the Si. Oh, yes. Yes. The first of the Sledgehammers and then they had an Aston Martin Lagonda.

I don't know if they towed it there, but. They dropped it off at the gates of the drug. And you wouldn't know from my Instagram post, but there's some pre-walk guys. I don't know what the fuck they were.

I said it was some old shitty cars, but maybe we were signed a dress. Everyone was, he's what to do. Everyone's wearing suits and the girls, it's not a golf course. They're wearing high watches.

They're wearing, they're wearing, I don't know. Never tried it. But they're wearing high heels on a golf course. And this golf course is undulating.

Look, maybe they were aerating the grass. I don't know what they were doing, but, and the, I'm kind of saying, it's almost me there, I go, did she really need to do that? There was, I think he must have had a good personality or a big wallet, but her skirt was see through. Right?

So she's wearing a mini skirt that's see through, like meshy. You can see her undies and she pulled her undies down, like her skirt down. For Andrew? No, no, no.

She's walking in front of us. She pulled her skirt down. It's see through. Doesn't matter how high up it is.

I didn't get it. That's the type of crowd that was at this COCA was not a guy. So, yeah. It's like rich people, some of that.

Double cars weren't moving. And then after that, we were off to SEMA. So they were doing, they had a press day on the Monday. So SEMA starts on the Tuesday.

We were there on the Monday. We went to a lunch. I was invited. I was a delegate on behalf of the US Department of Commerce.

I was an Australia American sort of luncheon before. This was like a junket. It was awesome. It was like a junket.

It has to be your best effort and go to SEMA. The Department of Commerce, Australian judge. I'll tell you, we haven't got to the judge yet. Did you fly business class?

My God, got my back. What's the hundred and eight? No, no, no. But what happened was, whoever flies Qantas Airbus A380, book row 70.

So the A380, so row 70, okay, it's in cattle class, but you know how the middle decks, it's 343. Yes. Row 70, so the middle decks are three seats. There's a seat missing on the left side.

So the row 71, you pay extra because you've got the extra legroom. You've got two rows. But I didn't do that. I got the seat next to the gap.

So I've got two trade tables. So there's no next to me. Two pockets of the seat in front of me. Right?

And basically, there was on the way back, there was this American old granny. I did not give her the look because she was just talking without hearing aids so loudly. She was excited that she booked the seat. She got her hand luggage and put it underneath her feet so she could do like a couch.

And the shoe and S came in there. I know why there's a missing seat there. She goes, you're not allowed to leave anything there because that's the escape hatch for the staff when they're going underneath and sleep. Yes.

So I didn't call it because I don't know if I've ever had that configuration. So if you want a good cheat sideways, no one next to you. And because you're sort of, you know, if you're on the aisle, you don't have to get up for anyone because you have the two right, it's the best economy seat for free without the legroom seat. So that's almost semi-economy.

Semi-economy, yeah. So anyway, I sat there some luncheon. They were talking about post-pandemic. Australia is number two to Canada in world exports to America for car parts.

We are a bigger market than Europe combined. So Australia is very important to the eggs. And they're talking about dollars being crashing. So they're talking about how it's sort of more expensive.

But they even talked about little things like air freight's metric. America is imperial. Their boxes are too big and it costs us extra to bring their parts here. So even little things like that are telling the Americans.

I don't know if you're ordering from Australia. No, it's more than export. If you're ordering from Australia, right, they're ordering from Australia. This is what they're ordering.

This is what we send them. We don't send something that's an inch in a three-quarter inch box. Like even one of the companies they bring in roof racks from the States. They said, don't send us the whole roof rack.

We can assemble it here. It saves a lot of packaging. So it's just little things like that. And like a face-to-face would help that where an email backwards affords.

You're not going to get it. So that was quite good. Is that what I thought? Is that what I thought they?

Yeah, what I thought they. Yeah. And then basically that Monday night they were revealing the Seamrock award cars. One of them was a cobra.

Yeah, they are. Shelby Cobras with 12 Tesla battery packs. Oh, God. 2000 horsepower.

I don't know how I'm going, but it won an award. There's a few nice cars. There's a buff face. You can only get one drink at a time.

So we'll see it was me and Andrew and this Mexican, no, she was Italian living in Vegas. So she goes, oh, can you get me a soda? Okay, no worries. I came back.

I can only get one drink at a time. So I gave Andrew my beer. I went back. Oh, that's when she asked for a soda.

I go back. I go, come on, one beer and a soda. Sorry, sir. One drink at a time.

It's just a fucking soda. I don't like a soft drink. So anyway, so running this thing. I don't know.

I don't know. So basically, and then the judging started the global media. I was part of the global media and we had to go to the new global showcase as a section of Seamrock where companies, the name and product was there from ideal codeings. So basically we had to pick a product that the brief was what was succeeding your country.

So there was a whole heap of stuff with go-fars, parts and things like that. So I'm only focused on the youths and for driving. I mean, that's what's going to work in Australia. And there was like this awesome like trade, like it was for the four youths.

And basically the bumper is a draw. So if you pull out the draw, your tools are set out. Cool. Yeah, if you're like a trader, that's awesome.

This other sound-affirming company which I heard the interviews in the previous podcast, they made like a tonneau cover for a youth. It's like you can put your bike, because it's got like, you can stick things on there and open it without having to take the bikes off. It's like a bike rack without having a roof rack. There was another like a head like a line off of the youth where it's push button.

It opens and shuts. There was a battery, like so if you've got a flat battery, you know, use jumplings. You press a button and it kicks itself. Okay.

Yeah, it's like a self-charging type battery, which I thought was quite awesome. And one company that they were, I interviewed them as well, was a trimmler company where they made a patch for your side wall, which I've never seen before. Because if you get a flat tire with a side wall damage, you're your cactus. So they've got a patch.

I'd rather just stay than patch the side wall on my tyre. Yeah, but it's not a temporary part. Yeah, I suppose. If you're in the middle of nowhere.

So they got numerous awards from a lot of countries. So it was a fun, it's untying that was on the podcast earlier. And there was another company I interviewed that created Battery Packs for 60s classic Mustangs and Merks. And a little bit.

That's an expecting. And she's a female engineer. A little did I know her mum is a radio producer. Yeah, I saw that interview on Washington State.

So they do a radio show based on that area and that factory's in that area. And so she sits on my mum's side and she reached out to you. So the message came to you and then you sent it out to me. And then I got in contact with you.

I looked at that thing and I was thinking like, you know, even at the back story. I'm looking at it and I'm really at a place in the States. We're getting these messages. Hey, I'm ready.

I'm a special guest. I'm not the interview. And I'm thinking of law and order where it says the story is fictitious based on real events or whatever. I think it's going to end up on some kind of paintings or stories.

As the foreigner, I get a point of being a barrel or something. Or it's used as a drug meal. Right. So that was quite fine.

So basically she wants to know about the Australian culture and would accompany like that, succeed in Australia. And you know, basically said you bring in 20th Century cars into the 21st Century. Eventually you might be able to buy petrol for them. And even when we switched to our letter you had to put lead replays.

At least old cars will adapt somehow. Well, they will. They will. I said the other day someone said to me, I want to sell your, like, you know, HSEB and your BK rep A and all this stuff.

And I said to him, I don't want to sell them. I still enjoy them. I don't drive as much as I'd like to, but such is life. But I don't want to be one of those people in 10 or 15 years that I do have more time to enjoy.

When I keep myself there, I can't buy them back because they're three times a price. And then you go, then I said, buy out on the flip side. I go, my kids will probably end up putting electric motors in me anyway. Yeah, well that's the thing.

I mean, I had Paul on with the Corvette a couple of episodes back. And he said his kid would be more excited about the Tesla than the Corvette. My kid. And I said I'm happy to sport.

Yeah, when we're driving to school? Yeah, Tesla. Yeah, Tesla. It's the poster car for these generations.

So it's like, you know, it's coming. I mean, batteries are going to be all the rage. So this company has found a way to put them in old classic cars and it's sold as a kit. So I think you've got it stored itself.

But it's a new company. And her mum produced the rear station and I was on there. I'm waiting for the tracks. I wanted to put my interview as one of our episodes.

So I'll get my hands on that track. I've asked for it. And we'll put it on there. It was quite interesting.

I was talking about gas prices. I didn't say petrol prices and stuff. Gas prices and things like that. And I said it's only inevitable.

I mean, the gumets are going to mandate our way into electric cars or hybrids or hydrogen or whatever. So it's the next sort of fuel, kinetic type energy system we're going to use. So it was fun. It was good.

I really enjoyed it. The other thing I noticed with Vegas every year that we go, everyone has to have a bigger and better screen. Like the screens that I like TV screens showing who's playing at this concert. Like the size of a school board at the football stadium.

Well, the hotel we stayed at went fucking better. The whole wall was a screen and it was just repeating out some of my window. Dojads. This doj doing burnouts for SEMA.

That's so now the screen is the side of the hotel wall. There was a few, I didn't know I was there. No, I left that morning to go back to LA. And they had an F1 car out on the strip.

So they all got it. I saw that. I mean, they drive it through the floor of one of their, because they know it. Outside, out, out, outside, so it's just Palace and like a...

They drove it inside. They're setting it up. Yeah, they drove it through where the gaming tables were. So they're all getting excited.

They had a standard SEMA and I spoke to one of the Las Vegas F1. She was all excited. I said, well, that means you got three races. It goes, what do you mean?

I go, there's one in Miami and Austin. Oh, he's there. Fuck. Oh, they're people.

They're painting. So they're excited about the Vegas Grand Prix, but they didn't know that. Imagine going to a European and saying to them, you know, isn't it lovely that you could have the, you know, you've got the French Grand Prix and then you've got the Italian Grand Prix. And you can drive to all of it.

What? You've got more? There's a race and a monocle. Not my Mia.

So we're going to look at the track. It's going to literally go down the center of the strip. I asked the guy, are they closing? You know, like on the Gold Coast with Indy Car, they close one side.

No, no, no, no. We're closing down the strip. So it's going to be amazing and interesting. The thing is, I think what will happen is it's going to be really expensive to go there next year.

Which is why we're going to ask them. Yeah. Next year's going to be really expensive. The year after the hype might settle down a bit and, you know, like I got a Vegas all the time.

And this year, the accommodation was expensive. It was subsidized by Seema. Yeah. The gaming is expensive.

The tables are like $50 minimum. It was just, it was a, I guess Europe was expensive too. My brother went. Everything's expensive with tourism.

So, and it was full. So we had a good time. We really enjoyed it. Met up with the smoking tie boys in LA.

So shout out. Thank you for inviting me to their car. Stack our storage facility with a west side car storage. Met Zac from the smoking tyre.

So I spent a good hour there with the boys. Went to their podcasting studio. And news. We've got our new podcasting studio coming up soon.

We're going to set up a new studio with the cast storage and cast storage and road microphones. I am excited. So it's awesome. So bigger and better things.

So that was Vegas. Had a good time. And also got a present for you. Did you know?

Is it a truck? 24 hat? No, no, it's a single hat. You're a mega.

Mega. I've got one for the other pop-up but he couldn't make it tonight. He's still got a hangover. And he wasn't even a hanger.

So you're a car shopping mate. No. I'm a salesman. So I don't like paying retail.

But I'm also a realist. We're in a funny market. But still even allowing for that. These fuckers are taking the piece.

Right? It's just a piece like that. But how? It's fuckers that were never in this position.

But I'll give you the best example. The Land Cruise of 79 series, which is a 40-year-old. We're going straight to Toyota. So I'm going to start to Toyota.

But this is not Toyota's fault. It is just the environment we're in. The 79 series now is closed books in Australia. For those of us in the 70 series of the old Bandiras, the old Bandiras, the old Bandiras.

So you can't order one. You can't walk in and order. You can't walk in and order. There's a 40-year-old.

There's a 3-4-year-old. Yet, there's a shit ton of brand new ones. There's four of them in a row. I'll put a drop pass.

There's a shit ton of them, which are being sold as used cars with like 100k's on them. And they're asking like 30k over the drive away price that is the recommended rate. So you can go there and pick one up today and drive away tomorrow. Yes.

They haven't there. Brand new. They're used cars. Because the dealers have registered them.

And what the dealers have been doing is, now most dealers are multi-franchise. Right? They're multi-franchise. They've got other franchises.

So they're registering, for example, a brand new 79 series and sending it to their Ford dealership to sell their as a used car. Oh, they're moving to another generation. Because they don't want to be seen as, oh, we've got a brand new one here. So they're cross pollinating.

They're moving it to, so the Ford dealer will have a high life. Because a couple of months ago when the new Ford Ranger, the new generation came out, then went to the new generation. That's a good one. Okay, why is there a brand new Ranger?

I don't need some data. It's brand new. It's just, thing didn't have time to get sold driven, damaged, and traded in. Yeah.

You know what it was? It's a cross selling. Parenting, parent company. Parent franchises.

Yeah, yeah. So, that's like, common noise. I want to buy, and there's a shit ton of cars sitting in the yard. And they're not, they're just saying, that's a cross model.

Another example? Kia, you went to a Kia dealership? And what were the cars? You videoed?

I've got the footage. I've been hearing it. Not for sale. Not for sale.

Brand new cars? Not for sale posters. But conveniently, the motor traffic association sheet that says how much a car is and how many cars? So when you say a used car, it's got, yeah, any columnar is the price.

Conveniently they were on the, like the passenger seat or loose on the ground. So they were there if they got inspected. They were there, you know, part enough. They were not for sale for the purposes of the vehicles, not for sale.

Usually they put on the sun visor and they flip it open. It's like, come on guys, who just want to buy a car? Don't give me this shit about, there's no stock, you've got to wait six months, you've got the stock. You've just been great.

Okay? You can just sell your stock today, take reasonable orders, keep people their cars and not rip them off. Okay, so last month's sales figures, Toyota Smashers Australia. Number one car.

25% market share. Last month I went down to 15%. Is that supply, maybe supply issue or the deal of shit? Well, I think it's a combination because it's not all of their cars that have got that much demand.

But I think part of the issue is that, look, the Ranger came out and probably sold a shit ton of sales off of them. But that's got to settle down because the wait time's a drop now. Like even a Corolla or a Rev 4. It's like a six to nine month wait.

Look, I drove and passed the Toyota dealership. The fucking cars are there. And that car has been there for about six weeks. So you might sell it to me.

Unless I pay 15 grand for one, two, three. And I got that shit cream. That baby shit, right. One, two, three.

They have been there for a couple of months now. They've got some. They've got cobwebs. I walk past me every day for my books.

I walk in, if I want to buy one, that's the price. The Rev 4, same thing. If you want that one, it's going to be $69.90. It's $52 or $2.00.

But if you want that one, because it's in stock, now fuck off. Let's cut to the chase. What are you going to do? Fuck the $5.00.

I'm going to make my kids happy. Well, this is a thing. We're a fan of diesels. The price of diesels has gone $2.40.

It's gone up $1.10. It's doubled in a year. Here's the thing. So I've been driving the front here.

The trust the old 3.2.2. Our first live drive. Our first live drive. I've been driving that.

Because I can use $10.00 as a Buck 69 without you. So, I'm $0.70 a litre. I'm diesel. Now, when I'm doing a Tank a week, that's $60 a week!

There's some good deals with Tesla's out there. You've shown me somewhere I bought mine. I mean, we're not talking about performance. For what you need, you just need...

I mean, it's a work half of you. Get around. What problem is, I look at... Are you?

So, I'm looking at it now 50. Already costs. Well, no, it's not really. But I'm looking at it now if I'd buy a rear drive standard Tesla.

Right, Model 3. Model 3. You really do have to get the autopilot option. option you have to pay for it not the full one but you don't have to put you invite late on to save on yeah I know but yeah that's the thing right so you at least go to get because when you go to sell this car if you don't have that shit you're not getting nothing for it you can add it later right but so I'm located and it comes in at like with the stand and enhanced what I apologize at enhanced yeah but whatever it is yeah so it comes in at 72 ish right right they're all over the place and let me interrupt in America they're fucking everywhere yeah so so around 70 grand and then I think well 70 grand it's cost me a hundred bucks a month more than 85 and get their long range or will drive and you probably wouldn't need it well I do like going for my drives yeah like I like going we got some friends that I got some large rural properties but you can get there back in the day yeah but it's 300 KZ way oh no you won't see so I wouldn't need to do like on there for a whole day so if I put in a normal powerpoint it's gonna get me back to a charging station but that's the issue I need the long range if I want to do these day trips yeah that's more and I got young kids and I want to get away on weekends sometimes and I want to get ask the borrow cars that's what it was yeah no but then yeah I want to borrow cars but it would have and then you look at well then play bees probably a hybrid well around the city you'll get super duper economy for later there but there's nothing like tomorrow I'm gonna get a wrap to get the same size as I'm afraid a CV to be a fucking boring shitbox car I'm not worried about that yeah I just want an A to B car I've made the decision I'm not buying myself anything fancy because all I want to do is take kids that's all go to the office go to the kitchen fashion I want kids to go to my kids roll my kids roll my don't go after the car yeah it's a very small bags to the back yeah so it's it's a difficult decision because there's where on the cusp of a lot of new cars coming on board but they're not gonna be cheap so I'm thinking do I get a rev with the e4 the hybrid so 70 grand was three years ago 40 grand that's right I've been able to buy some magic cars for you yeah run around cars well a hybrid Coroll was 50 all right we're now you could be 1960 to get something so the rev 4 is you're not gonna get an MG electric no it's not fucking cheap and you're not gonna have the new kia EV6 and all the other rock cars the higher diaries none of you but there's none in stock there's nothing stock okay if you want yeah it's a side plus so I'm thinking well I actually think the rev which is a staple of the Toyota diet and it'll always have great resale thinking well I spent 55 this on a rev not a not a top range well the cruising you have a high 50s yeah right no real options could do the trick you know in the city you can rely on the battery because I'm only doing short trips and I think they've got a range of like 40 k's yeah yeah it's not it's not Tesla but it's so it's usable for you do it's usable and then you know what and if you need to go out in the country you've got enough yeah so but it's just so stressful like what it shouldn't be like that you know you walk into dealerships and it's almost like you know you just you know you know you've know you've been lost in the desert no got the only bottle of water for the next 15 kilometers and I want to sell it and I want to sell it to you I've got cash they're gonna have to finance it I don't want to finance it I got cash for the water no mate it's five year balloon on this bottle of water right come on guys we could order another bottle if you want hasn't come in yet yeah you can wait three months we can have this one for four bucks right fine no someone's already up in the lid yeah no it's still let's not go five hundred days oh that's uh we have an electric Audi in front of us you know is that the e-tron?

yeah I've heard it's Frenchmanship isn't that bad? isn't it? isn't it? I thought it was about it isn't it?

it is? is it not? there's no exhaust pipes you're right yeah I think it is oh what's about on those? $50,000 there are people that have walked into dealerships to buy a car and that's in stock and being knocked back because they don't need finance they said to them well you know we can order you one because I just said but not I don't want to stitch up on price I want to stitch up on price yeah that's what the kickbacks on your wallet is but come on guys it's it's and then you say people who've bought a car purely and they're making profit on it and the tax office and it should be data matching and saying mate you paid 80 for these guys sold for 120 we want the tax on it yeah that's gonna happen tell us what you get how?

it'd be interesting I actually like the market we'll go one day let's take the market let's let's buy a car for hell yeah let's let's figure it out am I trying to test like I actually like a model white performance but I don't want to spend 100 grand on electric cars well wait I might as well Jim oh wait no I might and I don't really need a performance model white and I don't think it's gonna make that much difference the resale down the line because people just gonna want to pay you two things I haven't done these in three weeks because I don't want the headaches and secondly mate I have not spent a cent in fuel the last three months um let's take this again I'm not being Tesla fanboy but you know how good it is not having to pull that 150 bucks on your wallet and just leaving in the drag and plug it in you want to take the drags and say okay we'll see how we go we'll see how we go all right we'll do a live drive it drags it'll be boring in the tesla but anyway it'll be fun well there you have it we're back normal transmission that's resumed email us and have a studio soon with a backdrop and neon lights class walls and guests might have been spoken up to youtube we've been talking about that with cameras let's see how we go email us at i didn't check we've got a few messages since seem as well so we'll do that next episode so we've got a great idea all talk out calm.au what's the idea what's we got our studio we've got our video equipment set up and everything i want people to send me baseball caps okay you send me a baseball cap i'll wear it okay right every episode i'll wear a different baseball cap i'll do that plug that's how you've got a thing about wardrobe i'll increase the picture as well i'll wear it right whatever right us reviewers and there's a few reviews lately i want to read them out as well so we'll do that we're in the studio because we're driving now we can't really do it so thank you for listening i hope you're running enjoyed those vaguers interviews and specials we've got a bit of a kick in the ratings too so it's great to see it's all worth it for those trips that we do and next year i think how you got to be with us now y'all going to see next year y'allen yeah i'll be next year all right thank you for listening and bye for now
