#159 - Abbie Hopkins

Abbie Hopkins is an equine professional. On this episode, Abbie opens up about her family dynamic and what it was like to grow up being outside often. Abbie talks about playing multiple sports and eventually falling in love with field hockey. She discusses the difference of riding horses which is a very individual sport compared to playing a team sport like field hockey. Also, Abbie shares her college experience competing riding and then having to deal with her father's accident during that time. After college, Abbie talks about the struggle of picking a career path, but ultimately decided to chase her passion and work with horses full time.
