"The Luckiest Girl," chapters 13-14. We're cruisin' through Beverly Cleary's 1958 coming-of-age novel! Shelley and Hartley spend quality time together solving word puzzles, washing dishes, and touching hands. Katie makes a toothpaste cake and Mrs. Stickney comes to knit.
