A father’s role is more than just providing. It’s about security, identity, affirmation, and guidance. When a father is absent, emotionally distant, or silent, it leaves a wound that many carry into adulthood. Maybe you’ve felt it! The need for approval, the struggle with self-worth, or the search for belonging. In 2 Samuel 13-14, Absalom longed for his father David’s attention, but he never got it. That pain turned into anger and rebellion. When fathers don’t show up, children are left to fill the void on their own. But here’s the good news!! Even when earthly fathers fail, God, the ultimate Father, never does. In Matthew 17:5, He affirms Jesus: “This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased.”That same love is for you. God sees you, loves you, and calls you His own. If you’ve been carrying a Father’s Wound, healing is possible. If you are a father, be present—your love, words, and time matter more than you know. Let’s break the cycle. Let’s turn to the Father who neverfails.///////////////////////////////////////////////Die Rolle des Vaters ist mehr als nur ein Versorger. Es geht um Sicherheit, Identität, Bestätigung und Führung. Wenn ein Vater abwesend, emotional distanziert oder schweigsam ist, hinterlässt das eine Wunde, die viele bis ins Erwachsenenalter tragen. Vielleicht haben Sie das auch schon gespürt! Das Bedürfnis nach Anerkennung, der Kampf mit dem Selbstwertgefühl oder die Suche nach Zugehörigkeit. In 2. Samuel 13-14 sehnte sich Absalom nach der Aufmerksamkeit seines Vaters David, aber er bekam sie nie. Dieser Schmerz verwandelte sich in Wut und Rebellion. Wenn die Väter nicht da sind, müssen die Kinder die Leere selbst ausfüllen. Aber hier ist die gute Nachricht!! Selbst wenn irdische Väter versagen, Gott, der ultimative Vater, tut es nie. In Matthäus 17,5 bekräftigt er Jesus: „Das ist mein Sohn, den ich lieb habe; an ihm habe ich Wohlgefallen.“Diese Liebe gilt auch Ihnen. Gott sieht Sie, liebt Sie und nennt Sie sein eigen. Wenn du eine Vaterwunde trägst, ist Heilung möglich. Wenn Sie ein Vater sind, seien Sie präsent - Ihre Liebe, Ihre Worte und Ihre Zeit sind wichtiger, als Sie ahnen. Lasst uns den Kreislauf durchbrechen. Wenden wir uns an den Vater, der niemalsversagt.
