16 Days of Activism Against Violence on Women and Children Abuse

South Africa's Minister for Women in the Presidency, Bathabile Dlamini has made an impassioned plea to strategic NGOs and the general public to work with government in the fight against gender-based violence. She was unveiling plans for the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Children Abuse campaign under the theme #Hear Me Too in Pretoria. Various civil society organizations, NGOs as well as the Gender Commission, National Heritage Council, Progressive Women's movement and church representatives pledged their support to the campaign.
