16 Minutes With... R.A. The Rugged Man [Roskilde Festival 2026]

From spitting bars with Notorious B.I.G. pre-fame to pen game acknowledgement from some of the most respected media outlets and peers in hiphop, R.A. The Rugged Man is an underground staple and someone to be considered right up there with the greatest New York MCs of all time. He’s also an outspoken believer of free speech and not afraid to say what’s on his mind so when the chance came to do an interview with him after his performance at Rapolitics’ Re:Act stage at his years Roskilde Festival there was no hesitation. R.A. is currently finishing up a movie project and our conversation centered around this, his views as an American expat in Berlin and obviously the state of the world.
