Kdo přijde do kavárny DOXu, toho většinou hned upoutají velké oči a úsměv muže, který na terasu kavárny shlíží z velkoformátové fotografie na zdi Centra DOX. Tím mužem není nikdo jiný než Václav Havel, který byl s DOXem spjat takřka od jeho počátku. A proto jsme si v měsíci, kdy si pravidelně připomínáme jeho odchod, pozvali do posledního podcastu roku 2024 Danielu Retkovou: koordinátorku speciálních projektů DOXu a poslední roky také moderátorku politických diskuzních pořadů (S)tisk doby a Sledujeme. Daniela Retková však byla na začátku 90. let vedoucí tiskového oddělení a členkou „advance teamu” kanceláře tehdejšího prezidenta Václava Havla. V nahrávacím studiu jsme mluvily o tom, jaké náhody jí k práci u prezidenta přivedly, jak vzpomíná na společné zahraniční cesty a proč si jí třeba pozvali prezident G. H. Bush nebo princ Charles.
